WhatsApp Testing Redesigned Voice Call Interface

—

WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform, is reportedly in the testing phase of a revamped voice call interface.

This redesign seeks to enhance user experience by optimizing call controls.
The key change involves relocating the mute and end call buttons from their traditional bottom-of-screen placement to the top bar.
These buttons will only be visible when the call screen is minimized. Specifically, the mute button will occupy the top left corner, while the end call button will be positioned at the top right.
This strategic adjustment aims to streamline call management, enabling users to mute or end calls swiftly without navigating back to the call screen.
By placing these controls in a more accessible location, WhatsApp intends to facilitate seamless call experiences for its users.
However, it’s important to note that this update is currently undergoing a limited rollout.
Therefore, even users with the latest WhatsApp beta installation may not immediately access these interface changes.
In addition to this potential modification, recent updates to WhatsApp have introduced various features geared towards enhancing communication efficiency.
These include the ability to pin messages, share screen and audio during video calls on iPhone, and a chat filter feature aimed at simplifying the process of locating old messages.
