We’ll Protect Your Rights In Plateau, MURIC Assures Muslims

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC)Plateau State chapter has on Sunday 11 February 2024 said that it would use every constitutional means to ensure that the rights of Muslims in the state are protected.

 

The state chairman of the rights group, Sadiq Abubakar Yusuf, who revealed this during the inauguration of the state chapter in Jos the Plateau state capital, stated that the group has observed many infringements of Muslims’ rights in the state.

 

Also speaking, a guest lecturer at the event, Barrister Sani Abdul-Aziz, appealed to Muslims not to always give up when their rights were trampled upon or when they were cheated, stressing that they should always seek legal redress.

 

On his part, Dr Nazifi Yunus, also a guest lecturer at the event, called on the government to grant the Muslims equal rights as every other citizen.
