Reports have it that a yet-to-be-identified young man has been apprehended while allegedly attempting to detonate a bomb at Dadin Kowa near the United Bank For Africa, UBA Bank in Jos, Plateau state.
According to the reports, the young man who was tackled to the ground before being taken away by security operatives, reportedly claimed that Boko Haram members forced him to do it.
The incident occurred on Monday, May 13.
As of press time, the Nigerian Police in the state has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
