Reality TV star Uriel Oputa has cautioned social media users about following relationship advice from former BBNaija contestants, claiming many are not in the best position to offer such guidance.

This comes after fellow ex-housemate, Rachel Edward, made a bold statement urging women to leave any partner who won’t buy them a car. “If he has no intention of buying you a car, leave him!!!” Rachel wrote.

In response, Uriel expressed her concerns about the harmful mindset of entitlement. She advised women to prioritize personal growth and gratitude instead of expecting material things from their partners.

Uriel shared her thoughts on Instagram, writing: “No offense, but some BBNaija girls shouldn’t be giving relationship advice.

Ladies, the beginning of your downfall is when entitlement sneaks in. When all you do is receive without being thankful or acknowledging what you’ve been given, you lose your power to grow.”

She continued, “True wisdom is recognizing what you have, using it to elevate yourself, and sharing that knowledge to become a better person. Entitlement is the greatest form of bondage know this, and you’ll be free.”
