Real Madrid head coach Carlos Ancelotti during his press conference ahead of the Champions League Final has confirmed that Belgian goal keeper Thaibout Courtois will start in the goal post ahead of Andriy Lunin who contacted Flu lately.
According to Ancelotti, Lunin didn’t travel to Wembley with the squad but will joined the squad tomorrow and will be on the bench.
” Lunin has been suffering from flu and hasn’t been able to travel or train. He’s traveling tomorrow and will be on the bench, so Courtois will start.”
Lunin has seized the hand gloves since Courtois and Kepa went injured during the season.
As Dortmund and Real Madrid quest to make history tomorrow, Borussia Dortmund winning the UEFA Champions League will mark their first time since their maiden in 1996-97 (27 years ago) and should Los Blancos triumph, they rewrite history by extending their UEFA Champions League triumphs to 15 (the most by any European club).
