In a fiery and uncompromising address at the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), former U.S. President Donald Trump drew a sharp contrast between previous leadership and his administration, declaring, “We inherited the dark age of America and transformed it to the golden age of America.”
Addressing world leaders and diplomats, Trump highlighted what he described as his decisive approach to global leadership and security.
Pointing to his record in office, he said, “While others have talked about courage, I have shown it.”
A major focus of Trump’s address was the escalating conflict with Iran. He claimed that the U.S. military had “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear programme.
