Troops Discover Large Boko Haram Supply Cache in Northern Borno

—

Troops of the Nigerian Army under Operation HADIN KAI, working with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have discovered a large stockpile of supplies believed to belong to Boko Haram.
The items were found on Friday, 21 November 2025 during a routine patrol along the Damasak–Kareto road in northern Borno State.
The cache was located at Mamu Goni Bukarti, an area known for insurgent activity. Among the recovered items were blankets, cooking pots, zinc nails, shovels, vehicle and engine oil (including Ammasco gear oil), rolls of fabric, towels, baby mattresses and clothes. Troops also found rubber slippers, tricycle rims, a grinding machine engine and a weighing scale.
All the seized items are now in military custody for further investigation. The discovery is part of ongoing efforts by Operation HADIN KAI to disrupt Boko Haram’s supply network across the Northeast.
