President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be 72 years old on Friday, March 29, 2024. He doesn’t want people to make a big deal about his birthday this year.

Instead, he sees it as another important moment in his life as a leader and a respected figure.

Even though it’s normal for family, friends, and supporters to celebrate someone’s birthday, especially someone in his position, President Tinubu doesn’t want any fancy parties or events.

His spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, explained that President Tinubu is aware of the difficult times Nigeria is facing.

There have been recent attacks on soldiers and police officers, and security issues in different parts of the country.

Because of this, President Tinubu thinks it’s not appropriate to have any birthday celebrations.

He doesn’t want people to place ads in newspapers, or talk about his birthday on TV or radio.

Instead, he suggests that if people want to do something nice for him, they should donate money to charity in his name.

President Tinubu wants to use his birthday as a time to think about how he can help make Nigeria a better place.

He appreciates the bravery of the armed forces, especially in rescuing kidnapped children, but he knows there’s still a lot of work to be done to make Nigeria safer, more prosperous, and more united.
