The Premier League winner could be decided on the last day -Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, believed his arch-rivals in the Premier League (Arsenal and Liverpool) will drop points while the title could be decided on the last day.

“If we win all our games it will be down to the last day because they are not five, six, seven points in front,” Guardiola said.

“It will not be easy. I see Liverpool and Arsenal dropping points, but you never know.

“We have to show up and do our job and don’t regret that we should have won that game because they lost the game after.

“We cannot do anything. We cannot control what they do. We have to win our games, that’s all we can do.”

Manchester City ran riot on Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium last night during their 4-1 prodigious victory in which Phil Foden netted a hat trick, making his 31st goals contributions in all tournaments for the Cityzen this season.

Arsenal also recommended an easy triumph over Luton Town to lead on the log of the Premier League table with 68 points. Liverpool with a game in hand sits behind the Gunners, while Manchester City also shares the same points with the Reds.
