Sheila, the estranged wife of Israel Afeare (also known as Israel DMW, Davido’s Logistics Manager), recently spoke about her decision to end their marriage. In a podcast interview with her friend Ginika, Sheila said she doesn’t regret the divorce.
A clip from the interview went viral on social media on Wednesday. Sheila admitted she was “hurt” by her ex-husband involving her friend and mother in their divorce issues.
“I don’t regret my decision because it was meant to happen. I believe God has a plan for everything in our lives, whether good or bad,” she said. “But I’ve had moments of sadness. It hurt me to see my friend and mom dragged into our divorce. Despite that, I have no regrets.”
Israel and Sheila got married on October 20, 2022, in a traditional ceremony in Benin City. They separated eight months later amid allegations of domestic violence and infidelity from both sides.
