Big Brother Naija star, Seyi Awolowo, shared the challenges he faced while growing up.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Seyi revealed that his father disowned him several times.
Seyi, the grandson of the late Obafemi Awolowo, talked about his difficult upbringing in a polygamous family. He mentioned that his father kept detailed records on each child.
“My father disowned me a few times,” he said. “It wasn’t just me; he did it to a few of us because he had three wives.
“My father wrote letters to cut us off, reducing our identities to just names on a list. We all have files. ‘As of right now, your name is just Seyi, full stop.'”

Despite these challenges, Seyi has managed to carve out his own path and achieve success, becoming a well-known figure in the entertainment industry.
