Senator Yari says only prayers can bring an end to banditry and security challenges

Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) representing Zamfara, has urged Nigerians to persist in their prayers for an end to banditry, kidnapping, and other security challenges in the country.

Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, made this plea during a meeting with APC stakeholders from the 147 political wards of Zamfara in his residence in Talata-Mafara.

Expressing concern about the escalating security challenges, Yari emphasized that despite government efforts, the situation remains alarming.

He believes that only through prayers can these security challenges be effectively addressed, not just in Zamfara but across the nation.

He stressed the need for sustained prayers to seek divine intervention for lasting solutions.

“Therefore, we must sustain prayers to seek Allah’s intervention to bring lasting solutions to the problem,”he explained.

Yari highlighted the seriousness of President Bola Tinubu regarding the security challenges in Zamfara and other parts of the country.

He urged citizens to unite and support President Tinubu with prayers, emphasizing that collective efforts are crucial for success in addressing these issues.

Acknowledging the participants of the meeting, Yari expressed gratitude for their support during the distribution of palliatives to poor and vulnerable households across the state.

He explained that this gesture aimed to alleviate economic hardship among the less privileged in society.

Lawal Liman, the state Chairman of the palliative distribution committee, commended Yari for his commitment to the well-being of the masses.

Liman revealed that 170,000 vulnerable households across the state have benefited from assorted food items as part of the palliatives donated by the former governor.

Senator Yari emphasized the importance of prayers in addressing the security challenges, highlighted President Tinubu’s concern, and expressed gratitude for the support received during the distribution of palliatives in Zamfara.
