Sani Commends Establishment of Regional Development Commissions

Former Senator Shehu Sani has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to commend the Nigerian government on the signing of the North West Development Commission and the South East Development Commission.

In his post, Sani praised the initiative and called for the creation of similar commissions for the North Central and South West regions to ensure balanced and comprehensive development across the country.

“The Signing of the North West Development Commission and the South East Development Commission is commendable. Remain the North Central and South West Development Commission to make it complete. We hope the commission will bring the developments,” Sani posted.

The establishment of these commissions aims to address the unique developmental challenges and potentials of each region, fostering growth and prosperity. Sani’s call for the inclusion of the North Central and South West regions highlights the importance of an inclusive approach to national development.

As Nigeria continues to tackle various economic and infrastructural issues, the formation of these regional development commissions is seen as a step in the right direction.
