Samuel Chukwueze scores first goal in AC Milan colours

—

Regardless of the defeat AC Milan encountered at home to Dortmund during their 5th UEFA Champions League games in the group stages, Nigerian forward Samuel Chkwueze scored Milan’s consolation goal to end the tie at 1-3 in favour of the visitors.

Olivier Giroud missed an early spot kick to deny Milan an early lead. After four minutes, Marcus Reus fired Dortmund to a 1-0 after converting from the spot kick. Chukwueze’s 37th minute strike neutralized Reus’ effort, ending the first half on a 1-1 scoreline. Bynoe Gittens and Adeyemi brilliant goals sealed a comfortable victory for Dortmund, who qualified to the knock-out round.

The 1-1 draw between PSG and Newcastle still gives Milan a glimpse of hope to reach the last 16 should PSG lose against Dortmund and they secure a victory away at St. James Park.
