Sallah Feast as a School for Children and Adults

Dear Child,

Long before modern science and laboratories, people discovered many medicines simply by observing nature. They noticed that some plants resembled parts of the human body and believed those similarities carried hidden meanings and healing powers.

This idea later became known as the Doctrine of Signatures. It means, nature whispering clues to those curious enough to pay attention.

Today, something remarkable has happened again.

Children’s Day, celebrated every 27th of May, has coincided with the sacred festival of Eid Kabir. Perhaps this is another “signature”, a quiet message from life itself, inviting us to reflect deeply on childhood, sacrifice, growth, and purpose.

Maybe nature is reminding us that celebrations are not merely moments of enjoyment, but classrooms for wisdom.

Child, Eid Kabir is more than a festival. It is a living symbol of sacrifice, obedience, resilience, humility, patience, compassion, courage, and emotional strength. These virtues are more valuable than fame, popularity, or even success itself. Why? Because a strong mind and strong character can survive disappointment, rise after failure, and find meaning in every outcome.

Success without emotional strength can easily collapse.

But when your character is strong, every experience whether, victory or defeat becomes part of your greatness.

Do not waste your childhood waiting impatiently to become an adult. Many children dream of growing up quickly, believing adulthood holds all the freedom, power, and opportunities. Yet countless adults secretly wish they could become children again, just once more to correct wasted years, avoid distractions, start earlier, work harder, dream better, and invest their energy in things that truly matter.
That is why your time is now.

This season is your feast, a feast of youthfulness, energy, imagination, tenderness, creativity, and untapped greatness. Do not merely count the years of your childhood; make the years count.

Create joyful memories now.
Build hobbies. Discover passions. Learn skills. Read deeply. Create your own world of curiosity and wonder.

Let learning become something you enjoy, not something you endure. The future belongs to children who learn to play creatively with knowledge, discipline, and purpose.

Remember this always: school only teaches you how to learn. What truly changes lives is your personal effort, the sacrifices you make, the discipline you build, and the hunger you develop to grow beyond the classroom.

Every feast follows preparation.
Every harvest follows planting.
Every greatness follows hidden seasons of patience and hard work.

One day, you may miss the innocence, freedom, time, and energy you possess today. Many adults discover too late that the opportunities they once ignored as children could have transformed their lives forever.

So celebrate your childhood wisely:
Laugh, Play, Dream, Learn, Explore, Create.

And while others chase empty popularity, focus instead on becoming valuable. Do not run after a “big name.” Let your work, character, and usefulness attract recognition to you naturally. The world eventually searches for people who can solve problems, create value, and inspire others.

History shows that many truly great people were once ordinary children quietly building themselves while the world paid little attention.

As we celebrate Children’s Day and Eid Kabir together, may the deeper virtues hidden inside this sacred season become part of your life: patience, resilience, discipline, emotional strength, time management, compassion, sacrifice, and wisdom.

May your life become a beautiful feast of purpose, growth, and fulfillment.

Happy Children’s Day and Happy Eid Kabir.
With love and prayers.❤️
