Influencer Priscilla Ojo ended more than a year of secrecy on Monday, August 24, 2026, by revealing her son’s face to the world for the first time. The child, Rakeem Mkambala, turned one that day, and his mother marked the milestone with a tribute that fans had waited for since his birth.
Priscilla, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and wife of Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, posted the photos on Instagram with a caption that captured a year of change: “A year ago our family of two became three. 365 days later, our little one @rakeem_mk is ONE”
She followed with a longer message describing her son’s personality. “You are the most cheeky, happy, cleverest little pumpkin,” she wrote. “You light up every room you walk into.” She added a set of prayers for his future, closing with the line, “Happy 1st Birthday our sunshine, we love you endlessly.”
Priscilla and Juma Jux announced the pregnancy in July 2025. Once Rakeem arrived, an unofficial fan page dedicated to him gathered more than 50,000 followers within an hour of going live, even though no image of his face existed anywhere online. Priscilla had explained at the time that she would reveal her son only when she felt the moment was right. His first birthday became that moment.
Among the thousands of well wishes, one name stood out: Chioma Adeleke, wife of musician Davido. Her comment read, “He is so damn cute, my God!! Happy birthday to him! May God always protect him, and may he continue to be a source of happiness to you all! Amen.”
The comment gathered more than 24,000 likes and around 300 replies, more engagement than any other on the post. Part of the attention stemmed from Chioma’s months-long absence from Instagram. Fans said as much directly. One follower, @beeofficials131, wrote, “Aunty Chi long time no post..we love u, Ma.” Another, @heyitsfendy_, added, “Seeing u active on here again warms my heart sm”
Iyabo Ojo, Rakeem’s grandmother, wrote, “My Oga patapata is the cutest,” using a Yoruba phrase of endearment that roughly means “my number one.”
Singer Zuchu commented, “Shoo hanshaaaam, happy birthday baby bou.”
