Nigerian social media commentator Prince Isaac Fayose has stirred fresh political reactions after releasing a video mocking the growing confusion within the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Fayose claimed in the popular Facebook video that the governing All Progressives Congress was trying to use Goodluck Jonathan to divide votes in the South South and South East areas.
He asserted that the opposition camp had already discovered a solution by promoting Seyi Makinde as a powerful political force capable of upsetting APC influence in the South West.
The News Chronicle reports that Fayose questioned the likelihood of Jonathan re-entering the presidential campaign despite earlier remarks indicating no intention to run once again.
The pundit said that while she respected the former president, any attempt to return could set off fierce political conflicts inside the opposition.
Fayose also utilised the video to denounce what he called escalating chaos and self-centred interests among legislators getting ready for 2027.
Ahead of the next presidential election, he advised Nigerians to remain attentive as political groupings change across party lines.
