Manchester United has presented its Portuguese duo Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes with Premier League milestone awards on Tuesday, in recognition of their respective achievements with the club.
Dalot was recognized for reaching 100th Premier League appearance, during the recent 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on the south coast for the club since joining from FC Porto in 2018. The 25 years old was pivotal for the club during their EFL Cup triumph last season.
Reliable for the team, Diogo has made 30 of those top-flight outings during the current season alone and the consistent defender is enjoying his best campaign to date.
Fernandes, meanwhile, received a milestone keepsake for scoring his 50th Premier League goal, in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The club captain has already enhanced his tally to 52, of course, following a brace at the Vitality Stadium, and he is now our joint top scorer for 2023/24 with a tally of 13.
The Portugal internationals received their awards at Carrington on Tuesday afternoon, as the squad continued preparations for Wednesday night’s league match against Sheffield United.
