Pastor Paul Eneche Criticized for Rebuking Woman’s False Testimony in Church (Video)

Pastor Paul Eneche Testimony

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, Paul Enenche, is facing backlash from the public for publicly scolding a woman for giving false testimony on the altar during Sunday service at the Glory Dome auditorium.

The testimony session video that went viral on Sunday showed the woman introducing herself as Anyim Vera. She claimed to have been the first university graduate in her family after joining the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in 2014 and graduating with a “BSc in Law.”

The statement, however, prompted Pastor Paul to question the credibility of her testimony. He highlighted that there was no “BSc in Law” and demanded that she leave the pulpit, stating that it was wrong to lie on the pulpit.

Following the incident, some concerned individuals allegedly discovered Anyim’s Facebook profile and photos, confirming that she did graduate from NOUN. In addition, a list of graduates from the convocation on Saturday, April 13, confirmed her name as being part of those who graduated with an LLB in Law.

The video has since sparked mixed opinions on social media, with some calling on Enenche to render an apology. Some argued that pastors needed to take brash actions to avoid negative news on false miracle claims and that the woman’s speech may have stirred the misunderstanding. Others believed that the matter should have been handled differently with a calmer approach.
