Over 40 Feared Dead as Boko Haram Attacks Buni Yadi in Yobe

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists reportedly attacked Buni Yadi town in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State in the early hours of Friday, killing more than 40 people and leaving many others injured.

According to a source who spoke to The New Chronicle via WhatsApp, the insurgents stormed the town around 1:00 a.m., unleashing terror on residents.

The exact number of casualties is yet to be officially confirmed, while security agencies have not released a formal statement as of the time of filing this report
