OpenAI Launches “ChatGPT Enterprise” for Businesses, Focusing on Privacy and Productivity

Chat GPT got sued

OpenAI has introduced a tailored version of its ChatGPT technology called “ChatGPT Enterprise” designed explicitly for businesses. The new offering, which emphasizes heightened security and enhanced capabilities, is set to empower organizations in harnessing generative AI for various tasks.

In an official blog post, OpenAI highlighted the importance of AI in boosting productivity and creativity within workplaces. The release of ChatGPT Enterprise signifies a substantial stride toward realizing this vision while ensuring data protection for corporate clients.

Early adopters of ChatGPT Enterprise include prominent names such as fintech startup Block, cosmetics industry leader Estee Lauder Companies, and professional services giant PwC.

OpenAI’s announcement comes in the wake of substantial adoption of ChatGPT by employees from over 80% of Fortune 500 companies. The company’s analysis revealed widespread usage, spurring anticipation for the enterprise-oriented version.

The launch addresses key concerns about privacy and security that had previously led some businesses to restrict the use of ChatGPT. By assuring that the tool does not access or learn from business-specific data, OpenAI aims to allay these worries.

Although OpenAI has not disclosed the pricing tiers for ChatGPT Enterprise, the company invites interested business clients to connect with its sales team for further details. OpenAI is committed to actively onboarding enterprises in the coming weeks and seeks to refine the offering based on customer feedback.

This move follows Microsoft’s introduction of Bing Chat Enterprise, which also emphasizes data privacy. With both OpenAI and Microsoft vying for dominance in the business AI sector, the landscape is poised for competition, with organizations having new options to enhance productivity through AI-powered tools.
