Obi’s Ambition Is Bigger Than He Is

—

Reports from multiple credible media sources suggesting that Obi and Kwankwaso may be on their way out of the ADC to the NDC next week which align with my earlier prediction.

It doesn’t matter what my personal desire is, since they cannot force reality to bend to it. Yet it becomes an offense to analyze things based on conviction, sound judgment, and realism, and to provoke negative emotions or even suspicion when that analysis fails to echo or appeal to one’s hopes, feelings, or desires.

What many fail to acknowledge, even when their perception is driven by idealism or fantasy of believing that the ADC handlers have a plan they are keeping close to their chest and not disclosing, in order to manage the conflict of interest among the gladiators.

What they miss in their idealism is the realism to acknowledge that Obi is perhaps the only presidential candidate who cannot sacrifice his ambition for anyone. This is not selfishness. The truth is that Obi’s ambition is bigger than he is, and I have argued that, regardless of Obi’s position on the outcome of the primary election, his supporters cannot accept anything less.

Kwankwaso has also made it clear that he is in it for the presidency , as number one or number two.

And Atiku would perhaps be the one major figure whose name evokes sympathy after many failed attempts and a rich history of struggle that has rewarded almost everyone else at some point, only for him to bow out when a last-minute opportunity unexpectedly appears.
