Obasanjo Would Have Killed Me, If Not for Tinubu- Asari Dokubo

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has alleged that former President Olusegun Obasanjo would have killed him if not for the involvement of some other individuals.

Speaking during an interview with Arise TV, Dokubo stated that the likes of President Bola Tinubu intervened and did everything possible to save him.

He stressed his support for the Tinubu-led administration, adding that he stands by his statement that people should hold him responsible for the failure of the Tinubu government.

While lamenting that because of his commitment to the success of the Tinubu government and the assurances given to the Ogoni and Niger Delta people that the present administration would not fail them, Dokubo who stressed that he is liable for any infraction of the expectation of the Nigerian people, not just Niger Delta people.

He maintained that should President Tinubu encounter any difficulty, he is ready to stick out his neck for him.

“Obasanjo would have killed me if not for people like Ahmed Bola Tinubu who stood by me and did everything for me, so I am not going to be in a hurry to forget that.” Dokubo added.
