NPFL 2023 top scorer, Robert Mizo, moves to Al Hilal of Algeria

Al Hilal SC Benghazi of Algeria has announced the signing of the Nigeria Professional Football League 2023 top scorer. The 23-year-old prolific striker agreed an undisclosed contract with the Algerian outfit.

Robert Mizo was the NPFL’s top scorer for 2023 with 19 goals, being the only home-based player to have entered the list of Nigeria’s top 10 scorers for 2023.

This season only Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars (11) has scored more goals than the Bayelsa United talisman who registered 10 before moving to the Algerian League.

His move could be associated with the league position of Bayelsa United, who currently sits at the bottom of the NPFL table with just 14 points after 16 games.
