Notorious Terrorist Commander Surrenders to Nigerian Army in Kaduna

In a major victory for the Nigerian Army’s counter-terrorism efforts, a notorious terrorist commander, Lawal Kwalba, has surrendered to the troops. 
This significant event occurred on Thursday, May 28, 2024, following intensified military operations targeting terrorist hideouts in Kaduna State.
The continuous and relentless efforts of the troops have been crucial in exerting pressure on terrorist factions, ultimately leading to Kwalba’s decision to surrender along with his fighters.

During the surrender, the troops recovered two AK-47 rifles, a motorbike, and two magazines loaded with 7.62 mm special ammunition from the terrorist commander.
