10-year-old North West seems poised to follow in her father’s footsteps. At Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 2’ listening party in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, North West surprised everyone by announcing her debut album, ‘Elementary School Dropout’.
The announcement sparked significant reactions on social media, with users expressing concerns about the young artist prioritizing the studio over the classroom. North West has already showcased her musical talents, having appeared on Kanye’s latest album, ‘Vultures 1’, on the track ‘Talking’, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.
During the event at the Foot Print Centre in Phoenix, North West stole the spotlight with her announcement: “Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called ‘Elementary School Dropout’.” Her debut album draws inspiration from her father’s 2004 debut album, ‘The College Dropout’, reflecting her artistic lineage.
