NNPC Mourns Victims of Suleja Tanker Explosion, Urges Public Caution

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has expressed deep condolences to the victims of a tragic petrol tanker explosion that occurred on Saturday at Dikko-Maje Junction, along the Abuja-Kaduna Road in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State.
The explosion claimed several lives, with many individuals injured while attempting to collect fuel from a fallen tanker.
During a visit to the General Hospital in Sabon Wuse, Niger State, NNPC Ltd.’s Executive Vice President, Downstream, Mr. Isiyaku Abdullahi, expressed sadness over the loss of lives. He prayed for the deceased to rest in peace and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Mr. Abdullahi also called on the public to avoid approaching fallen tankers to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
NNPC Ltd. reaffirmed its commitment to the safety and well-being of Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of public awareness about the dangers of fuel-related accidents.
