NIMN And LBS Stimulate Diaspora Investment And Economic Growth Potential

—

The Lagos Business School (LBS) and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) have partnered to advance data-driven research, diaspora investment, and capacity building that would boost enterprises and economic growth.

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) President, Idorenyen Enang, made the announcement of the partnership yesterday in Lagos. He noted that the marketing sector makes a significant contribution to the GDP of the nation and that the field of marketing as a whole has enormous potential.

According to him, the strategic cooperation with LBS will benefit the entire business ecosystem as well as the overall economy.

According to the president of NIMN, the partnership’s guiding principles include advancing research to produce data that the nation can assess and offer insightful analysis of, not just the industry but also the nation and its enterprises.

Enang added that the collaboration would unleash people’s potential through intellectual property protection, moral leadership, and capacity building to support corporate expansion.

We are assembling a framework and establishing what is known as the NIMN diaspora. It concerns how our members, as well as marketers with African and Nigerian ancestry living abroad, would be able to influence people back home, the speaker stated.

Nsima Ogedi-Alakwe, the Chief Marketing Officer of LBS/Pan Atlantic University (PAU), predicted that this collaboration would revolutionize marketing. She claimed that those who have left the nation are learning new things and bringing them back to Nigeria, which is attracting international investment and partnerships in the fields of trade, cooperation, skill development, and education.
