Following the reactions generated by the appointment Mr. Ola Olukoyede as Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for a renewable term of four years by President Bola Tinubu, The News Chronicle carried out a poll to know the stand of Nigerians on the matter.
Respondents were asked of their view on the appointment of Mr Olukoyode. They were to choose between if he is a good choice or if there’s any reservation based on the appointment.
In the poll all (100%) of the respondents were of the view that they had some reservations regarding the appointment, while none (0%) registered acceptance.
The poll ran from 19th October to 25th October 2023.
