Nigerian Institute of Architects Donates N5 Million to Flood Victims, Confers Fellowship on Governor Zulum

The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), under the leadership of its President, Arc. Mobolaji Adeniyi has made a significant donation of N5 million to support victims of recent floods in Maiduguri.

This charitable gesture is part of the Institute’s commitment to addressing the devastating impact of natural disasters on communities across the country.

In addition to their donation, the NIA also conferred a prestigious Fellowship of the Institution upon the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.

This honor recognizes Governor Zulum’s outstanding contributions to the development of infrastructure and architecture in Borno State, particularly his efforts in rebuilding the region after years of insurgency.

The Fellowship is one of the highest honors bestowed by the Institute, reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service in architecture and related fields.

Arc. Mobolaji Adeniyi, President of the NIA, highlighted that the donation and fellowship conferment underscore the Institute’s dedication to supporting national recovery efforts and recognizing leadership that promotes sustainable development.
