Registered farmers across Nigeria have started to receive essential farm inputs through the National Agricultural Growth Scheme Agro-Pocket (NAGS-AP) program.

The distribution process has already begun in various regions, including parts of Niger, Plateau, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, and Jigawa states.

Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, announced on his X handle on Thursday.

stating, “This marks a crucial step in our commitment to empowering our farmers and enhancing agricultural productivity. By providing quality inputs, we aim to support our farmers in achieving higher yields and ensuring food security for Nigeria.”

To ensure the process is seamless and transparent, dedicated staff have been stationed at each distribution center to handle inquiries and address any complaints.

This initiative underscores the government’s efforts to cultivate a brighter, more prosperous future for the agricultural sector.

The NAGS-AP program is designed to support Nigerian farmers in achieving higher yields, improving food security, and enhancing the country’s agricultural productivity.
