NDE initiates Cosmetology training for Women in Zamfara

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Zamfara state has started a 5-day training for 20 women in cosmetology.

This training is to help these women become self-employed and create jobs for others in Zamfara state.

The head of NDE, Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, talked to the women during the training in Gusau.

He said the goal of the training is to give these women skills so they can start their own businesses and help reduce unemployment in the state.

The Director-General couldn’t be there, so Khadija Hamza Kolo, the coordinator in Zamfara state, spoke on his behalf.

She said the NDE wants to change the lives of women by teaching them skills they can use to support themselves.

Khadija Hamza Kolo told the women to be on time for the training and to learn as much as they can.

“I urge you to listen, learn, acquire knowledge and skills, be dedicated, and become employers of labor,” she advised.

After completing their training, each woman will receive a loan of N20,000 from the NDE (National Directorate of Employment) to help them kickstart their own businesses.

The NDE wants to support these women in their entrepreneurial endeavors by providing them with the necessary financial assistance.

During her speech, she emphasized the importance of paying close attention, putting in hard work, and setting goals to eventually hire other individuals.

By focusing on these key principles, she believes that these women can pave the way for their own success and contribute positively to their communities.
