Nasarawa United Qualifies for NNL Super Eight

—

Nasarawa United clinched a spot in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff after managing a 1-1 draw against Zamfara United.
This result secured their second-place finish in the Northern Conference Group C, trailing behind El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.
The match saw Zamfara United take the lead in the 40th minute courtesy of Namadi Ahmad’s goal.
However, Nasarawa United swiftly responded just two minutes later with Terdoo Shimagande finding the back of the net, leveling the score.
Meanwhile, Sokoto United and Sporting Supreme FC had already booked their spots in the playoff from Northern Conference Group D.
In the Southern Conference, Madiba FC and Beyond Limits FA were on track to secure qualification from Group A, while the race for the Southern Conference Group B tickets remained undecided heading into the final day of matches.
Ultimately, four teams would earn promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League from the Nigeria National League.
The excitement would peak in the Super Eight playoff, where the winner of the 2023/24 season would be determined.
