NAF Turns Terror Hideout Into Dust and Rubble

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has neutralized more than 15 terrorists during a series of precision strikes on a newly discovered hideout located west of Zuwa, within the Sambisa forest axis of Borno State.

Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed the development in a statement released Thursday in Abuja.

According to the statement obtained by The News Chronicle, Ejodame said the air interdiction was carried out on Wednesday under Operation Hadin Kai, following credible intelligence and detailed surveillance that exposed the enclave. The site was said to be a base for fighters and field commanders linked to recent attacks in the Bitta area.

Ejodame explained that the airstrikes destroyed critical structures within the camp and inflicted heavy casualties on the insurgents.

He noted that the mission underscored the Air Force’s professionalism and firm commitment to backing ground troops in the ongoing counterterrorism campaign.

Ejodame further emphasized that each successful strike represents progress toward restoring peace in the North-East by weakening and dismantling terrorist networks.
