Muslim woman in Kaduna generously contributes Christmas gifts to pastors, widows, and IDPs

Tijjani, an expert in bringing people of different religions together, shared that Pastor Yohanna Buru, leader of the Church, regularly gave 50 bags of food to needy Muslims at the Mosque during Ramadan. This helped them fully participate in the holy month’s 30 days.

Now, Tijjani is focusing on supporting over 200 widows, IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons), and orphanages during Christmas.

She aims to foster peaceful coexistence, love, and tolerance among people of different faiths.

Tijjani desires to bring joy to widows, allowing them to celebrate Christmas with the same spirit as Christians worldwide.

She made these donations at the Church of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry in Gwagwi Villa, Kaduna, emphasizing her passion for helping underprivileged widows who have faced pain and discrimination.

She believes Christmas is a chance for Muslims to show their Christian neighbors that Islam promotes peace, love, and tolerance.

Tijjani, affectionately called “Maman mu” by Christian women, has built positive relationships to promote unity between Christians and Muslims.

Tijjani’s kindness extends beyond Christmas; she annually shares over 50 Christmas trees with pastors across Nigeria to promote peace and unity. During Sallah, Christians send her gifts, which she shares with the less privileged.

Tijjani emphasizes the commonality among people of different faiths, pointing out the shared origin of Adam and Eve as our original biological parents.

She stresses the importance of helping widows and orphans, transcending tribal, cultural, regional, and linguistic differences.

She remains committed to spreading joy by sharing more items with other Churches in Kaduna and neighboring states, contributing to widows’ happiness during the festive season.

Pastor Buru appreciates Tijjani’s generosity, urging wealthy individuals to assist the needy during Christmas and beyond.

He acknowledges her consistent assistance to the Church over the past decade, highlighting the importance of Christians studying their scriptures to strengthen relationships with other faith-based organizations.

Buru, an interfaith specialist and winner of the United Nations World International Interfaith Week and Harmony 2022, encourages Muslims and Christians to live together in peace and harmony.

He also urges marketers to consider offering Christmas bonuses, aligning with practices in developed countries.
