Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP ) at the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi has visited the Maraba-Nyanya International Market Central Mosque on the evening of Monday, March 18, 2024, to breakfast with the Muslim community in the area.
In a trending video shared online, the former Governor of Anambra state was seen eating from a disposable plate and spoon-feeding a boy with the same spoon he used.
In the video, the Muslim faithful heap up around Obi, watching him as he ate.
It was gathered that, Obi, a devout Catholic, addressed the press on the mosque premises but the background noise impeded on the ability of the gathering to hear him.
