Manchester United’s youngster Kobbie Mainoo gets first international call

Manchester United’s youngster, Kobbie Mainoo has received his first international senior call-up by the Senior team of the Three Lions of England.

The update was made by Fabrizio Romano and the Three Lions.

Three Lions on their official pages wrote:

“An addition to the #ThreeLions squad.

Congratulations to Kobbie Mainoo, who has received his first senior international call-up!”

According to Fabrizio Romano, the decision was agreed upon by the English national team head coach to include the 18 years old into the squad’

“Kobbie Mainoo has been called up and promoted to the England first team!

The decision was made by Gareth Southgate earlier today.

Congrats and good luck, Kobbie!”

Kobbie Mainoo, 18 made his debut for Manchester United in November last year during United’s 0-3 victory over Everton in the Premier League. The English youngster cemented his trust in the heart of Ten Hag following injuries to a few of the senior players in the Manchester United midfield.

His inclusion into the English squad was influenced by his terrific performance against Liverpool during Manchester United’s 4-3 victory over Liverpool over the weekend.

Kobbie who is now worth €35m has been capped 23 times for United where he has scored two goals and made 2 assists in all competitions.
