Liverpool will release Salah to Egypt if they reach the AFCON final — Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool manager during one of his interviews with the club provided the recent update on injured Mohamed Salah. Jürgen Klopp said Liverpool and Egypt are keen on his return:

“I don’t want to be part of this story. Liverpool and also Egypt both want Mo Salah to be fit as soon as possible”.

Jürgen Klopp worries about keeping Salah in Africa where proper treatment is not guaranteed to delay his recovery process:

“If Salah stays in Africa, and they can’t do the proper treatment, it will delay everything, and it’s an issue”.

“We bring Mo here not to take him away from Egypt… but just because we do the best medical treatment”.

“It’s all agreed, it’s all very clear. If Salah is fit and then Egypt will reach the final of AFCON… he will be there”.

“If somebody questions the loyalty of Mo. Salah, so I’m sorry, but he should ask himself if his loyalty is right”.

“Mo is the I’ve ever met in my life”

Mohamed Salah was subbed off during Egypt’s second group C game against Ghana in the 47th minutes and was replaced by Pyramid forward Fathi Mostafa following a suspected muscle injury.

Egypt drew all their group games with the same score lines of 2-2 in all three games—qualifying ahead of Ghana and Mozambique who had 2 points respectively.
