Manchester United have stated that their defender Lisandro Martínez will be out of action for an extended period through an injury the Argentine suffered during their away game against Arsenal.
“Lisandro Martinez will be out of action for an extended period due to an aggravation of the foot injury he suffered in April.
The Argentinian defender experienced a setback in our Premier League game against Arsenal earlier this month.
Martinez bravely continued playing for the following two games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Bayern Munich.”
Manchester United have also lost three of their left back Reguilion, Malacia, and Luke Shaw to injuries, a development that has made the team resort to playing an unusual player in those roles in their last few games.
