Kwankwaso Rallies NDC Supporters After Court Ruling, Slams ‘Shocking’ Reversal

New Nigeria Peoples Party leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has urged supporters of the National Democratic Congress to “remain calm, patient, and resolute” following a recent Federal High Court ruling affecting the party.

Kwankwaso said the moment was “not the time to falter” and called for unity around what he described as the NDC’s “noble mission of rescuing our beloved nation.”

He faulted the court’s decision, arguing there is “no similarity in the logo of the NDC and that of the APC.” According to him, INEC had earlier been ordered by the court to register the NDC, complied, and has since attended the party’s events and congresses.

“It is now a shocker when some ladies and gentlemen went to the same court and the same judge decide to reverse himself because of some people who are not members of any registered party or not members of any registered or known organization in this country,” Kwankwaso said.
