Real estate businessman Mohammed Adah, known publicly as King Ochacho, has followed up his ₦400 million wedding gift to TikTok personality Peller with a new giveaway and a series of bold remarks about his wealth.
Adah is the founder and president of the Ochacho Group, a company with holdings in real estate, hospitality and entertainment. He gifted the mansion to Peller and his wife, Jarvis, during their traditional wedding in Lagos, a gesture he said came from his children’s admiration for the content creator.
On Monday, August 2, Ochacho held a livestream from a set built around two gold-and-white throne chairs and announced a giveaway tied to his son Iceking Ochacho’s new song. He said he would pay ₦100,000 each to 30 people who submit the best videos made to the track.

The payout will happen in two rounds. About 15 winners receive their money on Sunday, August 9, and the remaining 15 get paid the following Sunday, August 16. At the time of the announcement, 13 spots had already been claimed, leaving 17 still open.
“You guys decided to do that, right?” Ochacho said during the stream, addressing viewers about the wedding gift before turning attention to his son’s giveaway.
During the same livestream, Ochacho downplayed the value of the mansion he gave Peller. He told viewers, “400 million is just 400 Naira to me,” adding that the sum barely registers with him or his sons. He also suggested the mansion was only the beginning of what he plans to give the couple.
The remarks split opinion online. Some users praised Ochacho as generous and business savvy. An X user argued the gift doubled as marketing, noting that Ochacho used the wedding to promote both his real estate brand and his son’s music career.
Others questioned the source of his wealth. One user asked what kind of work generates ₦400 million so easily, saying young people deserve to know the path rather than just hear about the money.
A number of commenters criticized the comment about switching off the country’s lights, calling it insensitive given Nigeria’s ongoing power supply problems.
A smaller group of critics pointed to insecurity in Benue State, Ochacho’s home region, stating that the display of wealth sits uneasily next to unresolved problems there.
Ochacho was born on August 25, 1977, in Kaduna State and grew up in a military barracks in Makurdi, where his father served as a military nurse. He studied Economics at Ahmadu Bello University and has described himself as a self-made businessman, previously stating he earned £25 million in a single year.
