Katsina Fixes April 27 for School Reopening

The Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has confirmed that schools across the state will resume for the third term of the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, April 27.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Sunday in Katsina by the ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Sani Danjuma, on behalf of the Commissioner.

Danjuma explained that the resumption date remains unchanged, stressing that it aligns with plans to ensure full curriculum delivery and boost students’ academic outcomes statewide.

He also dismissed any expectation of a break before resumption, noting that academic activities would hold as usual on the Friday leading up to the reopening.

“Parents, guardians, school administrators and other stakeholders have been urged to take note of the development and ensure full compliance,” he said.

The spokesman reiterated the state government’s resolve to reposition the education sector under the leadership of Gov. Dikko Radda, while expressing gratitude to stakeholders for their unwavering support and cooperation.
