Kano Pillars Striker Tsamage leaves for Norway

17 years old Yusuf Abdullahi scores 5 goals for Kano Pillars against Gombe United

Kano Pillars’ striker, Yusuf Abdullahi Tsamage, has embarked on a journey to Norway for a trial with an undisclosed team.

The departure details emerged from sources within Kano Pillars, stating that Tsamage, accompanied by his agent, flew out of the country through Lagos International Airport over the past weekend.

The 18-year-old footballer, known for his impressive performance, notably scored five goals in a match against Gombe United, where Sai Mai Sugida secured a convincing 5-2 victory in the Nigerian Premier Football League NPFL 2023/2024.

Tsamage showcased his skills by scoring in the 10th, 14th, 33rd, 45th, and 60th minutes during the fixture held at Pantami Township Stadium in Gombe on match day 11.

This isn’t the first time Tsamage has ventured beyond Nigeria for a trial, having undertaken a similar journey last year for the same purpose.

According to a source, Tsamage and his agent took off from Lagos International Airport on the preceding Saturday.

Despite previous trials abroad, the hope within Kano Pillars remains strong that Tsamage will secure a spot with the team.

The source mentioned, “Tsamage left the country with his agent via Lagos International Airport on Saturday last week.” It is worth noting that Yusuf Abdullahi Tsamage, the leading goal-scorer for Kano Pillars FC this season, has netted five goals so far in the ongoing NPFL season.
