Kano Pillars halt a streak of four goalless games.

Kano Pillars had not won in four games, but they finally broke their streak with a tough 1-0 win against Sporting Lagos at the Sani Abacha Stadium last Saturday.

Mustapha Umar scored the only goal for Abdullahi Maikaba’s team just three minutes into the second half. With this win, Kano Pillars climbed up to seventh place in the league table.

In another match, Doma United managed to hold Gombe United to a 1-1 draw in the Gombe derby at the Pantami Township Stadium.

Gombe United took the lead with a goal from David Nnaji in the 12th minute, but Musa Usman equalized for Doma United four minutes after the hour mark.

Looking ahead, there are six more games scheduled for matchday 27 on Sunday.
