JUST IN: Oyinlola, Makarfi, Lamido Others Arrive PDP BoT Meeting

—

Reports reaching The News Chronicle have it that Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adolphus Wabara, alongside former governors, Ahmed Makarfi (Kaduna State), Olagunsoye Oyinlola (Osun State), and former Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Turaki, have arrived at the PDP Headquarters, Wadata Plaza, in Abuja for the party’s BoT meeting.

It would be recalled that the PDP Governors Forum, under the leadership of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, had on Monday 12 February, held a meeting in Abuja where they tasked the National Working Committee to galvanize the machinery for convening meetings of the appropriate organs of the party from the Caucus to the National Executive Council Meeting immediately.

It was gathered that the ongoing PDP BoT meeting is set to deliberate on the state of the party, the yet-to-be-scheduled NEC meeting, among other matters concerning the party.

As of press time, some of the party’s stakeholders also present at the meeting include the former PDP Deputy National Chairman, Shuaibu Oyedokun, and the former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido.
