The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a fresh extension of its timetable for the 2027 general elections, shifting key deadlines for the sale, submission, and screening of aspirants’ forms.
Under the revised schedule, the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms now runs until midnight on Wednesday, 6 May 2026, while submission has been extended to midnight on Thursday, 7 May 2026.
The party has also rescheduled its screening of aspirants to hold from Friday, 8 May to Tuesday, 12 May 2026, with the publication of screened candidates fixed for Wednesday, 13 May 2026.
The extension was confirmed in a statement issued by Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of the APC and made available to The News Chronicle.
