Senator Abba Moro has been appointed Senate Minority leader. The senate president made this pronouncement at a Plenary on Tuesday 21st November 2023, in Abuja.
The former Interior Minister from Benue State Central emerged as Senate Minority Leader in tandem with the People’s Democratic Party’s stand to zone the position to the north central zone.
Though a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Abba Moro has never hidden his friendship and support for President Tinubu of the APC.
He takes over from Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon representing Plateau North Senatorial District who was removed by a judgment of the Appeal Court.
