Ilebaye, the BBNaija all stars winner and latest millionaire, has drawn backlash after allegedly walking out of a podcast episode.
Charles Born, a well-known media figure in Nigeria, expressed his displeasure with BBNaija All-Stars winner Ilebaye. According to him it was totally uncalled for. Born claims that Ilebaye, who was supposed to appear on his podcast, grew impatient when she arrived and learned that Adekunle and Pere were being interviewed in place of her.
Ilebaye allegedly stayed for a short while before walking out, complaining about being kept waiting. She was referred to as a “celebrity of yesterday” by him, and he implied that wealth is not a guarantee of social standing.
Illebaye’s fans however are not having it as they claimed that there is more to it and will wait to hear her part of the story, furthermore they also agreed with Illebaye claiming that keeping someone waiting is rude.

Time is money. She may had other engagements. You can’t keep people waiting the whole day and turn around to squeal how money doesn’t buy class cos you know what else doesn’t buy class? Tardiness. Even me that is not a celebrity you have to respect my time. I like that she has respect for herself enough to leave since you want to be disrespectful. Some people are quick to tag you arrogant when you cannot tolerate their disrespect.”

As it stands it is just an accusation and no one has come out to back up the claims or deny it. Again Illebaye is the GenZ baddie and she can do no wrong in her people’s eyes.
