IGP Disu Orders Manhunt for Killers of Police Officers After Kebbi Attack

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has ordered intensified operations to identify and apprehend those responsible for an attack in the Rafin Makuku axis of Sakaba Local Government Area of Kebbi State, which claimed the lives of 10 police officers and other civilians.

The directive was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu.

The development followed the deployment of a delegation led by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Operations, Umar Shehu-Nadada, to Kebbi State on Tuesday to engage the state government and other stakeholders on the security situation.

The delegation was also mandated to strengthen ongoing efforts to prevent further attacks, protect vulnerable communities and improve security in the affected areas.
