During his traditional wedding in Lagos State on June 25, 2024, an Instagram video captured the touching moment when Davido bowed deeply before his bride’s parents. The event’s host then requested him to formally ask for their daughter’s hand in marriage, following tradition.
In response, he expressed his commitment to Chioma, saying, “I promise to take care of her forever, as I’ve sung and talked about.”
While lying on the ground as a sign of respect, Davido summed up his intentions with just two words: “Lifetime assurance.”
